today, my geography class went caving. we started out by descending fifty feet into the earth, and then squeezing through a crack almost smaller than our bodies, as our faces rubbed against the mud. we had to basically swim through glacier water (in full clothing) not knowing how far down the bottom was. we carefully climbed around corners knowing we could slip and fall seventy feet into a football field sized pool of water. we experienced awe.
we got to see parts of the world that barley anyone ever gets to see, we got to experience total silence of both sight and hearing. opportunities like this don’t happen everyday, and it’s about time we took hold of them and lived, i think.
when the people you really need to talk to aren’t around.
my school picture was taken out of the yearbook because i was dressed up like ke$ha, and apparently that doesn’t promote goodness and well being.
